Dorothy Vetterl

Dorothy Vetterl is an associate attorney with a background rooted in public service and community support.

She earned her Bachelor of Science in Political Science and Democracy, Justice, and Civic Engagement from Ferrum College before going on to earn her J.D. from George Mason University's Antonin Scalia Law School.

Her legal career has focused on landlord/tenant law, and she brings to her writing the same grounded, practical perspective that has defined her work both in and out of the courtroom.

Her writing focuses on the legal issues that affect the military community, along with covering developments that matter most to service members and their families navigating life on and off base.
