Major 2025 Veterans Day Events in the U.S.

1. Alabama
Where? Begins at the Mobile Area Chamber of Commerce (451 Government Street, downtown Mobile) and travels through downtown.
When? 10:00 A.M. November 11th, 2025
Additional events:
- Flag-raising ceremony at 7:00 AM at USS Alabama Battleship Memorial Park, 2703 Battleship Parkway.
- Parade of Flags at 3:00 PM at the same Battleship Memorial Park.
- Luncheon honoring Patriot & Veteran of the Year at noon at 1630 S Broad St.
Notes/tips: The event is free. Street closures and downtown traffic should be expected early. Arriving early is wise.
2. Arizona
Where? Begins at Montebello Drive & Central Avenue, heads south on Central, turns east on Camelback Road, then south on 7th Street, ending at Indian School Road.
When? 11:00 A.M. - 1:00 P.M. November 11th, 2025
Join “Honoring America’s Veterans” at the parade in Phoenix with more than 45,000 spectators as they honor Veterans this November 11th.
This year, the celebrity Grand Marshal is US Army Veteran and 6x UFC champion Randy Couture. From 1982 to 1988, Couture served with pride in the 101st Airborne Division, rising to the rank of sergeant. His years in uniform didn’t just shape his body—they shaped his mind, his leadership, and his future.
3. Arkansas
Where? Downtown Hot Springs
When? 6:30 P.M. November 11th, 2025
In downtown Hot Springs, Arkansas comes alive with the annual Hot Springs Veterans Day Parade, a tribute to the men and women who have served our nation.
The parade features Veterans’ organizations, military units, civic groups, and local businesses. So be sure to come early, find a good spot along the route, and bring your flags and gratitude—this evening event promises an uplifting atmosphere under the lights of Hot Springs’ downtown streets.

4. Florida
Where? Between SE Ocean Blvd. and SE Flagler Ave. The parade begins at Memorial Park.
When? 11:00 A.M. November 11th, 2025
The annual Veterans Day Parade and Ceremony honors the bravery and sacrifice of the nation’s servicemembers. The parade features Veterans, military organizations, community groups, and marching bands.
5. New York
Where? The traditional march up New York's Fifth Avenue starts at 25th Street and finishes at 45th Street.
When? 12:30 P.M. November 11th, 2025
To mark the 250th Anniversaries of the US Army, Marine Corps, and Navy, former SSG and Medal of Honor recipient Clinton Romesha, Marine Veteran and homeless Veterans’ advocate Stephen Peck, and NASA Astronaut and retired U.S. Navy Captain Sunita “Suni” Williams will lead this year’s parade as Grand Marshals.
The parade includes nearly 300 marching and vehicle units. It welcomes 20,000 participants from across America, representing every service branch of the military and every era since World War II.
6. Tennessee
Where? Downtown Nashville
When? 11:00 A.M. November 11, 2025
Nashville’s annual parade is headed down Broadway from 13th Avenue to 1st Ave. Metro police will start closing nearby streets at 9:30 a.m.
The Veterans Day Parade celebrates the service of all U.S. military Veterans. The parade will feature military groups from across Middle Tennessee.

7. Texas
Where? Starts on Dallas and Bagby streets, proceeding east on Dallas, north on Louisiana, west on Walker, south on Smith, and then west on Lamar, ending at Lamar and Bagby.
When? 10:30 A.M. (speech); 11:30 A.M. (parade) on November 11th, 2025
The city is proud to pay tribute to men and women in the military by providing an annual "Houston Salutes American Heroes Veterans Day Celebration" featuring Sgt. Major Angela Maness, U.S. Marine Corps, Retired, as the keynote speaker.
Sgt Major Maness has spent 30 years as an active-duty Marine and served as an Administrator, Drill Instructor, Range Coach, and trained candidates at Officer Candidate School in Quantico, VA.
After her speech, the American Heroes Parade will begin, filled with organizations, marchers, bands, ROTC, and more!
8. Washington, D.C.
Where? Memorial Amphitheater, Arlington National Cemetery, Washington, DC
When? Band begins at 10:30 a.m. and service begins at 11:00 a.m. on November 11th, 2025
The 72nd annual National Veterans Day Observance, honoring the men and women who have served and continue to serve in the US Armed Forces during war and peacetime, will take place in the Memorial Amphitheater at Arlington National Cemetery.
The annual event is free and open to the public. Seating in the amphitheater is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Scheduled events for Veterans Day include: the United States Army Band “Pershing’s Own” Concert Band and Chorus performing a prelude in the amphitheater; a wreath-laying ceremony at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier conducted by the US Army Military District of Washington; and the national observance inside the Memorial Amphitheater with a parade of colors by Veterans’ organizations and remarks from dignitaries.
9. Missouri
Where? Downtown Branson on Commercial Street
When? 11:00 A.M. November 11th, 2025
The 93rd Branson Veterans Day Parade is set to roll downtown again in 2025. However, it doesn’t really matter where you are in Missouri; you’re going to find plenty of celebrations available.
The Show-Me State has a wide variety of events all month long that truly honor Veterans in an impressive fashion.
